Meet Precious Njoki
Precious is 12 years old and the eldest of four siblings. After their mother tragically passed away and their elderly grandmother became too unwell to care for them, Precious took on the overwhelming responsibility of looking after her younger siblings.
The family was referred to Rapha Community Centre, where Precious and her siblings were welcomed into a safe, caring home. She can now focus on her education, well-being, and simply being a child—without carrying such a heavy responsibility alone.
Your sponsorship will help provide Precious with nutritious meals, education, healthcare, clothing, counseling, and the stability and encouragement she needs to build a hopeful future.
Each child can be supported by up to four sponsors, with sponsorship beginning at $39 per month. You may choose one or more sponsorship shares—or fully sponsor a child for $156 per month.
Sponsors receive at least three letters each year and have opportunities to write to their sponsored child and build a meaningful connection. We are also excited to introduce a new feature: personalized video updates from your sponsored child!
