Meet Miriam Nyambura


Born in 2006, Miriam is in her final year of secondary school. Her favorite subject is agriculture, she enjoys playing football, and she dreams of becoming a nurse.

Miriam’s family lives in a remote village and faces significant financial hardship. Although they want the best for her, they are unable to afford her school fees or consistently provide for her essential needs.

Your sponsorship will help provide Miriam with education, nutritious meals, healthcare, clothing, and the resources she needs to remain in school and pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.

Each child can be supported by up to four sponsors, with sponsorship beginning at $39 per month. You may choose one or more sponsorship shares—or fully sponsor a child for $156 per month.

Sponsors receive at least three letters each year and have opportunities to write to their sponsored child and build a meaningful connection. We are also excited to introduce a new feature: personalized video updates from your sponsored child!
