Meet Jane Njeri

Jane is a 4th grade student at Kihingo Primary School. Her favorite subject is mathematics, she enjoys playing football, and she dreams of becoming a doctor.

Jane and her brothers, Julius and Fedinard, were found abandoned without food and were not attending school. A concerned neighbor contacted the Children’s Office, which intervened and brought them to safety. Their younger sibling, who is living with HIV, was placed in a specialized home where he could receive appropriate care.

Jane was welcomed into Rapha Community Centre, where she now has a safe, stable home and the opportunity to continue her education. Your sponsorship will help provide nutritious meals, education, healthcare, clothing, counseling, and the encouragement she needs to pursue her dreams.

Each child can be supported by up to four sponsors, with sponsorship beginning at $39 per month. You may choose one or more sponsorship shares—or fully sponsor a child for $156 per month.

Sponsors receive at least three letters each year and have opportunities to write to their sponsored child and build a meaningful connection. We are also excited to introduce a new feature: personalized video updates from your sponsored child!
